Author Interview: C. Martin Stepp

Today we are sitting down with author C. Martin Stepp who writes the Hitchcock Brown Series!

Please tell us a little about your self?
I am an independent author with two books currently published at Amazon in both paperback and Kindle editions. I reside in South Florida, but I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio.

What is the most recent book you wrote? Can you tell us about it?
My most recent title is "Two Thursdays." It is the second novel in a series of humorous detective fiction. It features private investigator Hitchcock Brown.

What genre do you usually write? Have you branched out into others?
My current project is a series of humorous mystery novels, possibly considered "cozy" mysteries. I plan to approach other genres when this series is complete.
Do you currently have in projects in the works?
I am in the process of editing the third installment of the Hitchcock Brown series. This one is called "Deadbolt." I hope to have it published later this year.

Do you have any rituals when you finish writing a book?
I don't think I have any "rituals." Once I publish a book, I do like to order a few paperback copies for myself to give out to family and friends.

Who is your favorite author?
Kurt Vonnegut

What inspired you to start writing?
I have always enjoyed writing and reading. When self-publishing became more attainable, I felt it was a good opportunity to make my work widely available.
